the solitary heron
moved by murmurings of earth,
begins the rythmic rituals of courtship.
a poetry
of springs' return.
how do i speak of this gaze,
intimate
and infinite,
of this earth radiant
transparent and transient
body,
this luminosity
in a peony
giving her all to the moment,
this aliveness
in the dirt,
on my gardening hands
—Revirgination—
letting go of everything that isn’t you,
letting go of seeking power, or seeking to please,
letting go of all the expectations and beliefs crowding out your authentic voice,
becoming who you are,
deeply present, wild and mysterious,
standing in love,
radiant in your own naked truth
true sovereignty
is an inner light,
love its highest expression
She holds her flower scepter—
there is no power
greater than Presence
let us be
the light we are
let us be
a bright blessing for the world
holy darkness holy light
let us be
a sanctuary
for love
there is a world
inside this one—
transparent
vivid
undivided
